Sheri Galante - Youth Director
After two amazing summers as the Director at Camp B’nai Ruach, Sheri looks forward to being the Youth Director at CBI. For years Sheri has taught in the religious school, served on the temple board, ran summer camps and youth programs. When she isn’t at CBI you can find Sheri on the tennis court working on her doubles game, at home playing with her dogs, or reading a good book!
Josh Velazquez - Youth Advisor
Hey everyone, it's Josh! I am so excited to be your CBI USY Youth Advisor for 2023/2024. As a CBI USY alum I have spent so much time in USY and I have created plenty of wonderful memories throughout the years. When I was in USY I held many different leadership roles, first on our CBI USY General Board, then on CBI Executive Board as the Religion Education Vice President, and as a Regional General Board Member for the Religion Education Board. My hobbies include being a serious watch enthusiast, davening and leading services at CBI, and of course learning new things everyday. I am looking forward to making great memories for CBI and USY!
Maya Galante - Remote Youth Advisor
Hey all! I'm Maya and this year I am serving as the CBI USY Youth Advisor. I'm a former USYer and was very active within CBI, Far West, and International USY (Ask me about USY Summer Programs!). I graduated high school in 2020, and spent the year after in Israel on Nativ. I currently go to college at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, and even though I'll be on the other side of the country, I'm always a text away and will be a resource for the USY board. See you all at CBR next summer!
